Product Description:
This HDMI to eDP driver board converts HDMI video signals to eDP (Embedded DisplayPort) output, supporting both 30‑pin (0.5mm pitch FPC) and 40‑pin (I‑PEX)interfaces. It powers and drives 10–16 inch eDP notebook LCD panels (not for TV, tablet, or phone screens). The board features a Type‑C power input (5V/2–3A), a button for power on/off and brightness adjustment (non‑dimming memory, default 70% brightness on startup), and supports resolutions up to 4K60Hz (40‑pin version) or 1920×1200 60Hz (30‑pin version). It automatically adapts to the panel’s EDID; no firmware programming needed. Important: Hot‑plugging is not supported – always disconnect power before plugging/unplugging the eDP cable. HDMI audio is not supported.

Important Notes & Troubleshooting:

No adapter cables (e.g., DP to HDMI, Type‑C to HDMI) – use a direct HDMI source. Adapters may cause instability.
Use a quality shielded eDP cable (especially for 2K/4K panels) to ensure signal integrity.
If the display has backlight but no image, the graphics card likely does not support the panel’s resolution (older GPUs often max at 1080p).
High‑resolution panels (2K/4K) require a compatible GPU.
